We’ve recently uncovered even more about Ronnie’s lifelong fascination with mazes. Hidden among her files are more stories of mazes, stone labyrinths and the winding paths she delighted in exploring.

In this blog we return to Ronnie’s Collection Notebook, home to her wonderfully odd assortment of treasures. Between the spoons, rocks, marbles and Cornish keepsakes lurked a rather unexpected fascination...bottles. Ronnie loved a tipple, naturally, but she also loved digging up old bottles from marshland and fishing them out of tips and skips. Collecting beer bottles can lead you on an exciting chase or, if you’re not careful, a full blown pub crawl disguised as “research.”

Another of Ronnie’s Lists, this one is all about bridges. It is unsure why, what, how or when Ronnie wrote this list, are they bridges she went over or saw or did these bridges just fascinate her or is there any correlation between all of these bridges?

Ronnie didn’t just collect things such as spoons, stamps and books (plus many other quirky items!) but she also collected places. This week we uncovered yet another notebook with lists of "places she seen, been or achieved"!
