How it all began
This blog began with a discovery I never expected. After my mum, Ronnie passed away, I found myself surrounded by notebooks, files, scraps of paper, lists of places
she’d been and things she’d loved. It was a treasure trove, but one far too big to face straight away.
I tucked everything into a huge box and left it there
until I felt ready.
When I finally opened it, I was stunned. The sheer volume of her writing, the detail, the humour, the curiosity, it was breathtaking. I felt awe, pride and a deep sense of wonder at what she had quietly created.
In that moment, I knew her words deserved to be seen.
And so Ronnie’s Ramblings came to life, a place to finally celebrate her voice and share her stories with the world.
